Origin of Bawana slum dwellers

Could CI give us some information on where the sponsored families in the Bawana community came from originally? I understand they were evicted from central Delhi. However, my sponsored child Sania often mentions visiting her grandparents or other relatives in "her village". Do some of the Bawana residents come from the countryside and divide their time between their villages and Delhi?

You are correct that the families living in
the Bawana community were evicted from central Delhi, so it’s likely that the
majority of families living in Bawana originated in Delhi.  However, many families may have relatives
that live in other villages, that they often visit.
