EG's Cancel Title is required

If an EG is sent to a child in Zambia and they are unable to meet up with the family, what happens to the EG?

Usually they still get it sometimes it just takes a long time

Karen_1fb22 - if the local agency is not able to get an Extra Gift donation to a family, they would let us know and we would contact you to see if you would like a refund or to have the donation reapplied for something else. This happens infrequently and typically only if the family moves and is no longer participating in the program.

They don't need to meet in person. Money can be transferred to the family and then they inform CI what they bought if they don't have smartphones to make and send photos or internet. You get the report of how your EG is spent by the kid's family.

Yes, this is what just happened with the EG I sent to my Zambian child. It took a long time but I got a report (no letter or picture) but they were able to do a lot with it.
