Website no longer indicates if a child has been sponsored

Before the migration, if a child has been sponsored children you recently viewed would say "sponsored" if they have been sponsored. However now, the website no longer indicates if a child has been sponsored. I've send a couple of inquires over the past few weeks about a specific child in particular about potentially sponsoring because the website shows the child is still available. However, when I asked about her, customer service indicated the child is currently already sponsored.  And today, I went onto the website and low and behold, it says she is still available and even allows me to "add to cart" if I want to sponsor her. Why is the website indicating children are available for sponsorship when they are not?  And what if people didn't know this glitch and added a child to their cart, paid their initial monthly payment, only to find out months down the road the child is already being sponsored?  Does the sponsor get that money back? Thank you.

Hi Denise, if a child has a sponsor then their info will not be included on the website, so that the very scenario you describe doesn't happen. I do see that you asked about Victoria and were told that she HAD a sponsor and was not available to be sponsored, but that info was inaccurate. She has not had a sponsor since August.  The rep must had looked in the wrong place (learning where everything is located in the new system can be tricky), and given you incorrect info.  I'm so sorry!
