So i've been thinking of paying for private education (and associated costs) for my little one in DR and wondered if any of you have/had any similar set ups for your respective kids. I've already contacted CI and apparently the possibility is actually there; i'm just a little hesitant to pull the trigger and wanted to know if you guys have had any experience with this as it related to CI.

Thanks all!

So i think I am paying for my sponsored child to go to private school in Guatemala.  She's going to middle school(6th grade) and they give you an estimation how much the expenses of a kid going to school are and then I paid for it.

Being on this forum is both inspiring and humbling. You are both amazing sponsors.

I will say there is a mild sticker shock, and if she is going to private school there is a commitment to keep doing it.  After Carlos graduates, Joselyn will be my only sponsored kid until she graduates or leaves. But it awesome to see was one of my sponsored kids go from having trouble in school because of lockdown to graduating with her class. I re-read that letter sometimes.  If you help out with any education, it's worth it.
