Ummm...I'm not slick either! LOL. All three centers in Lusaka have libraries and computer centers. They each also have a playground, medical and dental clinics, a pharmacy, nutritional rehab rooms and of course, meeting rooms.
Now, the formal computer skills programs are for those kids 12+. They have to sign-up to take the class, which is instruction in the use of basic applications and computer programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Email; Internet Navigation; and Internet Safety andSecurity.
We have a partnership with Intel, so we use an Intel-developed curriculum in the computer skills courses that can be adapted to the context and need of each location.
In addition to the formal computer skills program, all sponsored children and youth have access to the computer centers for learning and school-related activities, such as online research, homework and digital literacy and numeracy programs.
Each kid would use the community center in their community and since all three in Lusaka have the same offerings, there wouldn't be any need to travel to another community to use a center.
