and as far as school I'm hearing CI provides school supplies. I was planning on getting her school supplies shall I still send her supplies?

I might consider waiting. School in Honduras ends in November if I remember correctly. You might consider hair care products, maybe coloring book and crayons, photos.

you can always send pens and pencils, erasers. folders. things like that are always useful.
