What would you do? Cancel Se requiere un título

There is this one kid from my brood who writes perfect letters as in too perfect. I don't believe he writes it himself. I have said that I would rather see letters in his own handwriting, and even then, it's too perfect. Largely, I continue to receive type written letters from him. It bothers me a bit because I believe an adult is still writing it. Kid is a freshman high schooler and should not need an adult to write it for him. Seeking some help is of course ok since English is not his language, and, obviously, I'm not looking for perfection. I would rather see errors coz that actually gives me some confidence that the kid is engaged in the process. Does this ever bother anyone here? What would you do? How else would you try to get them to relax? ... Oh, and what are the chances I'm wrong?

Have you reached out to the Care Team with your concerns?  Also, now that youth and families have more options to get their letters to their volunteer or field worker (text via WhatsApp, write and send a photo by email, dictate over the phone ) rather than coming to the center and waiting in line to handwrite a letter, we are seeing more typed letters.  If the family dictates the letter or texts it to the volunteer, they will in turn type it up in the child's language along with an English translation. 

Children International has posted many a photo of children writing letters in groups, receiving attention and having fun together.  I have never seen a photo of children waiting in line to write a letter or even a photo of a child writing a letter alone with a staff.  Children International’s diagrams of their community centers include Letter Writing Rooms where the children gather.  What a fun social experience . And such a joy for a sponsor to receive.  And think of the excitement for the child each time they  come to the community center, the learning experience, the special time spent in the safe secure place provided especially for them.  

What liza92037 has brought up is something that should be explored. With families no longer having to go to the center for dispersal of EG funds, calling in letters, etc, it seems as though the Centers are falling by the wayside in the interest of expediency. This concerns me. Is there an ongoing effort to get families and kids back to the Centers so that they can benefit from CI’s programs? 

The community center are all still buzzing with excitement and activities. The centers continued to be used to their full potential. :) The new platforms for letter writing are simply additional options for families.
