Why should I set up an account in MyCI?
Setting up your own account in MyCI allows you to manage your Children International account at your convenience. A MyCI account allows you to:
- Read letters from your sponsored child and send letters back
- See current and past photos of your sponsored child
- See your child’s details
- Write and send letters to your child
- Review your account summary and update your personal information
- Manage your payments as well as make additional gifts
- View your giving history
- Find out if your employer matches your charitable gifts
- Share your Children International story with others

Where do I find my Children International account number?
When you become a sponsor or make a donation to Children International, you are automatically assigned an account number.
You can find it:
- On your welcome letter or welcome email
- On your sponsorship reply form
- On the progress report you receive with your child’s letter
- On your year-end receipt if you use automatic payment services
- If you can’t find your account number, call 800-888-3089 or email children@children.org
- Included in the footer of your monthly eNews emails from Children International
What are the requirements for my username?
Your username must have at least six characters. Often, people choose to use the email address associated with their Children International account.
What are the requirements for my password?
Your password must contain at least 6 characters. We recommend creating a unique password — one you will use only for your MyCI account.
