I am privileged to work with committed team members in our Children International agencies worldwide. A few weeks ago, about 40 program leaders from across six Latin American countries met in Barranquilla, Colombia, to discuss ways to increase the breadth and depth of Children International’s child and youth development programming. (We’ll share more details as the year unfolds.)
There was a sense of deep commitment and open-mindedness as leaders discussed how to adapt and evolve programs and services to continue meeting the needs of young people and preparing them for success.
We also had the opportunity to celebrate the women leaders in Latin America on March 8, during International Women’s Day.
I couldn’t be more excited about Children International’s strategic direction, the organization’s team of leaders, and the opportunity to increase the impact of our work and unleash young people’s potential to change the world.
