As a child, Daniel already knew he wanted to become an entrepreneur, but he didn’t want to exclusively focus on business. Daniel also wanted to improve his own life, his family member’s lives, and his Guatemalan community.
At just 14 years old, Daniel started a hydroponic crops project. He has even founded a city park, planting flowers and other plants that attract pollinators, called Monarch Park.
Now a young man of 22 and a graduate of our sponsorship program, Daniel continues doing amazing things. Having received a scholarship from Children International, Daniel is creating opportunities that support his family and boost his underserved community.

I'm very proud to be a part of Children International, and a part of my 7 Sponsor Girls lives. Soon I'll have 2 of my Sponsor Girls graduating from Children International. I'm so proud of their hard work to achieve their goals, and make their dreams come true. I always tell each one of my Sponsor Girls to Dream Big!
